Currently living in Williamsburg, Virginia, Julielle primarily focuses on creating abstracted landscapes and floral paintings. She begins by creating a layered underpainting, then finds the composition from within that chaos. As she add layers, she remove elements to simplify the piece. Her work typically serves as a way of processing the beauty within the struggles of everyday life.
Outside of her work, Julielle, her husband (a military pilot), and four babies move cross country every two years. They love being outdoors, and treasure time together as they are often apart. Her work is always a reflection of her heart, and the challenge of painting is one of her deepest joys.
