Caroline is a self-taught artist who is drawn to create abstract acrylic and mixed media paintings. She focuses on color, composition, movement, and texture through layering and mark making. She cites inspiration from interior design, textiles, architecture, nature, and impressionist and abstract art. While painting in her home studio, Caroline becomes enthralled in the process of mixing colors, blasting music and dancing along, and intuitively creating brushstrokes on her canvas. She recently participated in the Architects and Designers as Artists show at a local gallery in Richmond and the Spring Emerging Artist Show through the Scouted Studio in Charleston, South Carolina.
