"Homeplace" is an original oil painting on linen by Laura McGowan framed in a plein air frame. This painting shows a dirt road leading to an old farmhouse hidden by trees. In the distance on the left is an even older abandoned house, weather beaten but still standing. This is a familiar site on all of the backroads in Laura's rural area on the Eastern Shore.
